Amanda is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been in practice for 15 years, since graduating with high honors and receiving her degree in Dental Hygiene of Allied Health Sciences. Considering herself to be a true dental nerd, she is always eager to take continuing education courses to stay current in her practice and provide quality, evidence-based care.
Of particular interest to her is dietary impact on oral health. As a patient advocate, she helps her patients to understand the state of their oral health, how it correlates to their whole-body health or disease and how they can modify their daily practices to achieve optimum oral health and an aesthetic smile.
Outside of work you may find her enjoying the outdoors, cycling, practicing yoga, strength training, reading or listening to podcasts on health and wellness, all things biology, and a little true-crime as well. Her favorite of all, is any activity that involves quality time with her husband and children.
Not only does Amanda hope her patients leave feeling clean, but also empowered with knowledge and tips for maintaining or improving their oral and overall health. She is truly thankful for having found a great team to work with everyday that have the same priorities at heart, to ensure our patients receive the absolute best care and support possible.
